Sharing with you my passion and vision in my life in photography
I’ve been a keen photographer for over ten years, much of that time spent living in the West Country while travelling across the UK. I now reside in North East Wales, closer to one of my favourite locations Snowdonia National Park - a landscape that continues to challenge and inspire me.
My photography is rooted in patience, light and a quiet connection to the natural world. Whether standing on a windswept shoreline before sunrise or waiting silently for a bird to lift from the reeds. I’m drawn to moments that feel honest and unforced.
Landscapes allow me to explore atmosphere, weather, and the shifting drama of light across land and water. Wildlife photography, on the other hand , demands stillness and respect. It teaches observation, timing, and humility - and often rewards with fleeting, beautiful gestures.
I am particularly inspired by the understated - the overlooked garden bird, the solitary tree at the water’s edge, the quiet pause between movement and stillness. These are the moments that speak most clearly to me.
Through my work, I hope to share not just what I see, but how it feels to stand there present, attentive and connected.
Thank you for taking the time to visit.
Jim.
